Hydraulic Cylinder (Reverse Engineering) is an example of a VIRT project carried out based on supplied samples, with a focus on reconstructing the geometry, functionality, and durability of the component. As part of the project, we ensured appropriate selection of materials, standard parts, and machining and hardening technologies to achieve parameters comparable to the original.
The materials used included steels 1.7225 and 1.6587, applied in parts requiring high strength and wear resistance. The cylinder features standard components such as seals and bolts, which facilitate maintenance and replacement of wear parts.
The scope of work included heat and thermochemical treatment processes such as carburizing, hardening, and laser hardening (depending on load zones and surface durability requirements). This approach allows achieving a hard, wear-resistant working layer while maintaining proper core strength.
We offer reverse engineering and manufacturing of hydraulic components based on supplied samples, with material, machining, and hardening technology selection tailored to the actual operating conditions.
